MEETING: TUESDAY 2nd JUNE 6-9pm… Archaeological investigations are due to begin at Lowdham Roundabout as part of the A614/A6097 Improvement Scheme being delivered by Nottinghamshire County Council.

Archaeological works at Lowdham Roundabout
Targeted archaeological works are expected to take place over a three-week period at Lowdham Roundabout. The investigations will focus on identifying and recording any historic remains, including features associated with a former lynchet previously recorded within the Nottinghamshire Historic Environment Record near the junction of Nottingham Road and the A6097 Epperstone Bypass.
Meet the contractor events
Residents are invited to attend upcoming drop-in sessions to meet the project team and contractors responsible for delivering the junction improvement works.
The events will provide an opportunity to:
- learn more about construction timings and key stages of the works
- understand what residents can expect during delivery
- speak directly with representatives from the contractors and Via East Midlands project team
